From the field to the plate, through animal production and health, plant production, food processing, health foods, functional bio-ingredients... The agri-food sector is strategic for Quebec because of its key role in terms of nutrition, economic development, and its impact on our regions.
For its 2022-2023 collaborative research program 2022-2023, the CRIBIQ is pleased to announce the launch of its 92nd call for projects for the agri-food sector, the SPO-Bio Food program.
This program is part of the Support Program for Research and Innovation Organizations (SPO) of the Ministry of Economy and Innovation of Quebec (MEI). This is YOUR chance to collaborate with Quebec's public research institutes and institutions (IRPQ) to successfully carry out your innovative projects while benefiting from an advantageous monetary contribution offered by the MEI.
Changes to the SPO standards have been implemented to facilitate the submission of your projects!
Firstly, the rate of financial aid is no longer determined by the level of technology readiness level (TRL), but rather by the size of the company (SME: 249 employees and less / GE: 250 employees and more).
Secondly, only one company can participate in the research project.
Finally, College Technology Transfer Centres (CTTC) are now eligible for indirect research costs (IRC).
If you are interested in submitting a project, please contact Daniela Bernic to discuss eligibility criteria and obtain the required forms for the submission of the full application.
The deadline to submit your full application is October 18, 2022, at 5:00 pm.
