Hôtel Le Victorin (19 Boulevard Arthabaska Est, Victoriaville QC G6T 0S4)
This event will be held on November 30, 2023 at the Hôtel Le Victorin in Victoriaville, with the theme: The Quebec Bioeconomy: Challenges, Stakes and Solutions for a Sustainable Future.
The aim of this event is to bring together students from a wide range of Quebec public research institutes, researchers and industry representatives to discuss the themes of bioproducts, the environment as well as the biofood sector, and to highlight the opportunities and challenges involved in developing bioprocesses in Quebec.
This event will showcase Quebec as a world leader in the development of the bioeconomy. The activity will also be an opportunity for industrials – the key players in the implementation of bioeconomy innovations and applications – to discover the potential of new talents, as well as for students to stand out before the eyes of potential employers.
Through this Symposium, as in intermediary, the CRIBIQ will give the students an opportunity to share the findings of their research projects, to exchange views with experts in the fields of the Quebec bioeconomy and to discuss about projects related to the development of tomorrow's bioeconomy, sharing their challenges, issues and solutions.
This CRIBIQ-sponsored event is organised by four (4) doctoral students from Université Laval, McGill University, Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR) and the Centre Eau Terre Environnement (ETE) of the Institut national de la recherche scientifique (INRS).
