Agrifood

The Agrifood sector groups all activities associated with food production, from fisheries and aquaculture to processing and distribution of foods and beverages, including development of bioactive ingredients and functional foods. This is a strategic sector in Quebec’s society due to its crucial role in support of health and its contribution to the continued development of Quebec’s national and regional economies and the protection and enablement of provincial resources.
