The biofood sector remains one of the key sectors of the Quebec economy. It contributes to both food security and sovereignty as well as to the province's economic and environmental health.
The Quebec biofood sector has the potential to become a world leader in innovation, research and development. The CRIBIQ is therefore determined to support this propulsion by funding collaborative research projects in the biofood sector.
This call for projects is part of the Support Program for Research and Innovation Organizations (SPO) set up by the Ministry of Economy, Innovation and Energy of Quebec (MEIE).
The SPO-Biofood program is an interesting opportunity for both research centers and companies that wish to innovate and propel their ideas towards commercialization and wealth creation.
