CRIBIQ appoints new CEO | Geneviève Mathieu

The Board of Directors of the Consortium de recherche et innovations en bioprocédés industriels au Québec (CRIBIQ) is delighted to announce the appointment of Geneviève Mathieu as President and CEO. With a wealth of experience and expertise in the fields of science, technology and innovation, Geneviève will bring strategic leadership and an exceptional ability to mobilize and unite teams to carry out innovative industrial projects in Quebec's biobased economy.


Over the past 25 years, Geneviève has acquired valuable experience in the innovation sector. Since 2018, she has held the position of Director of Strategic Partnerships and Public Relations at FPInnovations, where she provided leadership in the development of strategic projects in concert with stakeholders in the innovation ecosystem, both at the federal level and for all Canadian provinces. Previously, she held management positions at Tetra Tech and the Institut de recherche et de développement en agroenvironnement (IRDA).

Geneviève holds a Master's degree in Political Science and is a Certified Corporate Director (CCD). She stands out for her unifying leadership, strategic sense and in-depth understanding of innovation issues in Quebec and Canada. She has also contributed to various advisory committees and boards of directors, including that of MÉRINOV, where she holds the position of Vice-President.
