An electrotechnological process for the treatment of wastewater and industrial water

Technical landfills (LETs) face continuous challenges in terms of the complexity of the water to be treated. With standards that are increasingly tightened, and in particular those affecting metals and nitrogenous products (mainly ammoniacal nitrogen), the constraints are major. Existing systems (biological, chemical or membrane) meet several standards, but when it comes to very low levels to achieve, in metals or ammonia, the cost becomes exorbitant and out of reach. The ECOTHOR® system developed by E2metrix makes it possible to treat these specific contaminants with good technical and economic efficiency. The project aims to provide a technological showcase to potential customers for the demonstration of the ability of ECOTHOR® in polishing to meet the requirements affecting LETs.
