The adoption of innovative technologies is an area of interest for the agri-food industry. In order to ensure the competitiveness, profitability and sustainability of Quebec's agricultural sector, cutting-edge technologies and scientific advances are major assets. Recent technologies could allow producers and managers in the food processing industry to perfect work methods and increase efficiency and productivity in order to continue to proudly offer quality products.

Therefore, the Consortium de recherche et innovations en bioprocédés industriels au Québec (CRIBIQ), the Consortium de recherche sur la pomme de terre du Québec (CRPTQ) and the Producteurs de pommes de Québec (PPTQ) invite you to the very 1st Innovation Day – Innovation: An essential lever to ensure the sustainability and profitability of agri-food companies, which will take place at the Centrexpo Cogeco Drummondville on January 25, 2023.

Join us to learn about recent technological advances applicable to today's agri-food sector! On the program, two (2) parallel conference rooms, with fourteen (14) speakers, to help you discover recent industrial and scientific developments related to:

  • Artificial intelligence
  • Innovative processes involved in food production, preservation, and transformation
  • As well as other themes such as life cycle analysis, regenerative agriculture and the use of drones in agriculture in Quebec and elsewhere in the world.

The objectives of this day are to promote networking and knowledge transfer by highlighting innovations applicable to the agri-food sector, at a time when the market is strongly affected by climate disruptions and rising input prices.

  • Industrialists in food processing (R&D, processes...)
