In order to position itself as a key player in the preservation of the environment, the province of Quebec must invest in academic research on the various sectors of the biobased economy. Two of these important sectors are the industrial bioproducts and the environment.
The industrial bioproducts sector includes bioenergy (liquid, solid and gaseous biofuels), materials and biobased chemicals. As for the environment sector, the CRIBIQ aims to set up projects related to bioremediation, effluent treatment, and waste recovery.
Within the framework of its 2022-2023 collaborative research program, the CRIBIQ is pleased to launch its 93rd call for projects in the industrial bioproducts and environment sectors. This call is part of the Support Program for Research and Innovation Organizations (SPO) of the Ministry of Economy and Innovation of Quebec (MEI).
Changes to the SPO standards have been implemented to facilitate the submission of your projects!
Firstly, the rate of support is no longer determined by the technology readiness level (TRL), but rather by the size of the company (SME: 249 employees and less / GE: 250 employees and more).
Secondly, only one company can participate in the research project.
Finally, College Technology Transfer Centres (CTTC) are now eligible for indirect research costs (IRC).
You can download the 2022-2023 Applicant's Guide or visit our Funding Programs page for more information.
If you wish to submit a project, we invite you to contact Mr. Jean Philippe Chenel to discuss eligibility criteria and obtain the required forms for the submission of the full application.
The deadline for submitting your full application is October 10th, 2022 at 5:00 pm.
